macOS Sierra (version 10.12) Checklist

This webpage will show what software or service that can be used on macOS Sierra (version 10.12) that is supported at Iowa State University.

Current Software: Current Software is software that is useful to all users.
Active Directory Binding		Upgrading to Sierra on Mac already bound and binding new Sierra install both work fine.
Box Sync 4
Casper Server		While unsupported by JAMF, macOS Sierra clients will continue to work with Casper 9.82. ITS will tentatively upgrade to Casper 9.93 in October for initial support and Casper 9.96 for full support over Winter break. See Casper macOS Sierra Issues for more information.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client		3.1.14018 has been verified to install and connect. See Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client macOS Sierra Issues.
Deep Freeze		6.10.220.1106 adds support.
Fetch
JMP 12		Appears to work. Cannot find any official confirmation.
PaperCut Client
Software Update Server		Software Update Service is deprecated in Server 5.2 and will be removed in a future release.
Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition (anti-virus for personally-owned computers)
Symantec Endpoint Protection (anti-virus for university-owned computers)		12.1.6 MP6 adds support (software.iastate.edu has been updated). See Symantec Endpoint Protection macOS Sierra Issues.

VMware Horizon Client		VMware End-User Computing Blog implies that version 4.2 adds support.

Microsoft Office for Mac 2011		Supported starting with 14.6.8. See Security prompts for Lync for Mac 2011 and Office for Mac after you upgrade to macOS 10.12 Sierra for more information.
